Candle Magic 101

Aside from being Friday the 13th, there will be a New Moon in Cancer! Cancerians are natural born intuitives; associated with water energy, and astrologically connected to the moon. This will be a time of deep inner reflection and psychic experiences. Doing Candle magic on this night will increase your sixth sense, communication with spirit, closer to your higher self and illuminate light into your life.

In this class we will learn about the different types of candles we can use in our magic rituals as well as the effects it has during new and full moons. We will also learn how to appropriately "dress" or "anoint" them with essential oils and herbs. Each student will have the opportunity to choose a specific candle they want to work with. I will also be giving tips on the "does and don'ts" of candle magic and the right ways to turn off and on a candle. We will end the class with a ritual prayer for good luck and light.
