New Moon Candle Magic

A new moon occurs in Virgo on September 1st. It is an annular solar eclipse, meaning it will create the visible coronal ring (“ring of fire”) most people associate with eclipses. Eclipses are catalysts of change heralding beginnings, endings and a world of possibilities as you close one chapter and start another. This month’s new moon and solar eclipse in practical earth sign Virgo will inspire you to purify, perfect, streamline and simplify.

For Virgos it's out with the old and in with the new!

In this class we will learn about the different types of candles we can use in our magic rituals as well as the effects it has during new and full moons. We will also learn how to appropriately "dress" or "anoint" them with essential oils and herbs. Each student will have the opportunity to choose a specific candle they want to work with. I recommend my students to choose the green candle for prosperity and abundance which the new moon in Virgo will help amplify. However, you will have the option of choosing between, Love, Money, Health and Curse removal candles. I will also be giving tips on the "does and don'ts" of candle magic and the right ways to turn off and on a candle. We will end the class with a ritual prayer for good luck and light. Hope to see you all there!
